Environmental consulting
We support companies in their environmental management (ISO 14001 / EMAS)
Whether your company wants to implement an environmental management system (EMS) according to ISO 14001 or EMAS, or already operates one , our consulting services will support you in designing your EMS in such a way that the effort and benefits are optimally balanced and improvements in environmental performance are achieved. This includes streamlined documentation, the scope and level of detail of which are aligned with the environmental relevance of your processes and the environmental legal requirements applicable to your company. We support you in the systematic assessment of environmental aspects, create your legal register, develop environmental objectives with you, and train your employees.
For existing environmental management systems, we can take over individual or all tasks of the environmental management officer, depending on requirements . These include, among other things, the evaluation of environmental data, the assessment of target achievement, the execution of internal audits, and the preparation of the management review.
Our consulting services: We ensure that your first or next EMAS or ISO 14001 certification is a success!

Support in implementing the new ISO 14001:2026
Approximately ten years after the last revision of ISO 14001, a new version of ISO 14001 was published on April 15, 2026, and the German version (DIN EN ISO 14001) was published in June 2026.
The basic structure of the standard has remained the same. The new ISO 14001:2026 primarily contains clarifications and minor additions to existing requirements, which certified companies now have to address.
We support you during the transition! With a gap analysis, we'll show you where action is needed and work with you to determine which measures must be implemented. Depending on your specific needs, we offer 1-3 workshops where we'll develop the necessary additions together. Feel free to contact us!
Multi-site: Implementation of environmental management systems in companies with many locations
The Energy Efficiency Act requires companies with high energy consumption to implement an environmental or energy management system. This poses significant challenges, especially for companies with multiple locations ( multi-site organizations ). To provide these companies with the best possible support, we have developed a tailored consulting concept and have already successfully implemented it on several occasions. At its core is a clear focus on the "main site." Here, general issues are centrally managed, and uniform guidelines are established for the tasks to be implemented at all locations.
Our tailored consulting concept for multi-site organizations enables affected companies to achieve a stringent and feasible path to certification.
The EMAS platform - free support for small and medium-sized enterprises
In 2022, on behalf of the German Federal Environment Agency, we developed a digital platform together with KATE eV and comundus GmbH for the simplified implementation of environmental management processes. The EMAS platform is primarily intended to provide free support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in implementing EMAS and digitally managing their EMAS processes.
Simply register on the EMAS platform to receive step-by-step instructions, task management, document templates, completed examples, and access to digital tools.
Do you have questions about the application? Feel free to contact us!
NEW: EMAS network to support EMAS implementation
Based on the EMAS platform, we will soon offer a network to support the implementation of an environmental management system according to EMAS – with group workshops and individual consultations. Participate and benefit from exchanging ideas with other companies.

Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle
Environmental management systems help you achieve and control your short- and long-term environmental goals. A systematic approach – the so-called Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle – ensures a continuous improvement process.
Internal audits and gap analysis ISO 14001/EMAS
A key component is the regular execution of internal audits to verify the effectiveness of the management system and to identify any necessary corrective actions and potential improvement measures. Internal audits often also include compliance audits to verify legal conformity in the environmental area. For this, we utilize our instruments and tools, which have been continuously developed over many years.
In a gap analysis, we work with you to examine which components of an environmental management system are implemented in your company and which are missing. If the identified gaps are then addressed together, the essential prerequisites for successful certification are met.
To enable you to conduct internal audits independently, building audit expertise within your company is a key task. We offer in-house training courses and seminars for environmental management officers and internal auditors to achieve this.
Many of our clients also appreciate more intensive and long-term support in maintaining and further developing their environmental management system. The scope of support ranges from a reduced coaching approach to the comprehensive handling of implementation tasks by our experienced consultants.
Networks/Group Projects
Overcoming the hurdles together! The new challenges that can arise from ISO 14001/EMAS recertification and new legal requirements are easier to tackle together. Benefit from our networks and collaborations:
- ISO 14001/EMAS recertification
- Environmental management in the convoyi (Funding program of the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy of Baden-Württemberg with the aim of supporting companies in the certification/validation of an environmental management system.)
- Networks in Bavaria (From January 2017, the introduction and re-certification of EMAS and ISO 14001 will be subsidized by up to 80% under the BUMAP funding program of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment.)
