A climate strategy is becoming increasingly important
In accordance with the Paris Agreement and the Climate Protection Act, Germany aims to achieve greenhouse gas neutrality by 2045 at the latest. The Paris Agreement stipulates limiting the global temperature increase to 1,5°C if possible, and in any case well below 2°C. This goal can only be achieved through the active participation of the private sector and public administration. However, its implementation presents a major organizational and substantive challenge. Therefore, it is crucial that long-term climate protection solutions are established within the framework of climate management and climate strategies.
Our consulting services: Developing a climate strategy for your company
Developing a climate strategy for your company has the advantage that measures and goals are addressed at a strategic level , as the climate strategy provides the framework for the key areas of climate management. Only through active climate management can concrete measures be implemented and the goals of the climate strategy achieved in the long term.
To address the direct (e.g., physical) and indirect (e.g., market-related) challenges of climate change, we support you in developing a comprehensive climate strategy. This begins with an inventory of your company's carbon footprint (CCF) . Based on this, a materiality analysis is conducted to determine which emission sources are particularly relevant and where savings are possible. Building on this, we then work together to develop targets for short-term reductions as well as strategies for the long-term reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
