Climate Fit BW: a funding program for companies in Baden-Württemberg

Together with the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy of Baden-Württemberg, Arqum developed Klimafit BW and conducted pilot projects in the districts of Calw and Ludwigsburg, as well as the university city of Tübingen. In August 2022, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for the Environment published the Klimafit BW funding guidelines. Since then, Klimafit BW has been supporting companies in Baden-Württemberg in further advancing local climate protection. This is achieved by creating a precise data foundation that enables participating companies to implement effective climate protection measures and achieve financial savings.

Our consulting services: We make your company climate-ready in Baden-Württemberg.

Over a period of six months, we worked with the participating companies to develop a greenhouse gas inventory through four half-day workshops and three individual consultations . Together, we identified areas with potential for improvement in energy efficiency and climate protection and developed concrete measures that will enable your company to save costs.

Baden-Württemberg promotes corporate climate protection

As part of the funding program “ Companies make climate protection ” , companies based in Baden-Württemberg receive financial support for consulting in the context of GHG accounting and in the conception and implementation of climate protection measures.

The subsidized consulting and investment services are diverse and cover all important aspects of corporate climate protection – from conducting a greenhouse gas balance and sustainability reporting according to CSRD to identifying savings potentials and implementing concrete measures.

She also advises companies of different sizes and industries on the implementation, development, and maintenance of environmental, quality, and occupational health and safety management systems.

Another focus of her work is sales planning and employee management at the Stuttgart location.
