Energy consulting
Our consulting services will guide you through the energy audit process.
Many companies are required by the Energy Services Act (EDL-G) to carry out an energy audit according to DIN EN 16247-1 and to repeat it every four years.
Alternatively, affected companies can also demonstrate an energy management system according to ISO 50001 or EMAS validation . For energy-intensive companies with a total energy consumption of more than 7,5 GWh, this has even been mandatory since November 2023 under the Energy Efficiency Act.
The energy audit requirement applies to all companies that do not meet the EU definition of SMEs and have a total energy consumption of less than 7,5 GWh. Our experience shows, however, that even small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have significant energy-saving potential.

Frequently asked questions about energy audits
What are energy audits?
An energy audit is a standardized energy efficiency consultation. The first step involves identifying the organization's energy consumers, and the second step identifies potential improvements and corresponding measures.
What is the process of an energy audit?
An energy audit is conducted according to DIN EN 16247-1 and the steps described therein. This means that after initial contact, an introductory meeting takes place. This is followed by data collection and an on-site inspection to identify energy-saving potential. Subsequently, the data and results of the inspection are analyzed and summarized in a report. This report is presented in a final meeting.
