Internal audits according to ISO 19011

Energy efficiency law in practice: Arqum advises the German Federal Pension Insurance Fund on the introduction of EMAS.

Why is our seminar interesting for you:

Organizations that have implemented a management system according to EMAS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 50001 must regularly verify the system's functionality and the results of its environmental, energy or quality performance through internal audits.

The new ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards require, among other things, the determination of the necessary competencies of employees involved in the management system. Internal auditors are specifically mentioned in the annexes of these standards. Demonstrating their competence will play a more significant role in future certifications. Our seminar is aimed at internal auditors for traditional management systems. It is based on the new DIN ISO 19011:2018 standard, the guideline that governs the conduct of internal and external audits for all management systems, such as environmental, energy, quality, and occupational health and safety management.

In the seminar you will receive practical tips and instructions on how to conduct internal audits, as well as useful documents, and you will exchange ideas with participants from other companies about the pragmatic implementation of internal audits.

Target group:

All persons who are responsible for conducting internal audits.

Goal:

The aim of the seminar is not only to convey the content and process of an audit, but also to train participants in, for example, communication techniques. Sample audit questions are developed for classic management systems, and the execution and preparation of the audit report are explained using practical examples.
