Approximately ten years after the last revision of ISO 14001, a new version was published on April 15, 2026. The German version (DIN EN ISO 14001) is expected to be published in mid/late May 2026.

While the basic structure of the standard has remained the same, ISO 14001:2026 mainly contains clarifications and minor additions to existing requirements that certified companies now have to deal with.
