The German Federal Government is not only demanding stronger climate protection measures from businesses. The federal administration itself aims to become a pioneer and implement an environmental management system based on EMAS in all top-level federal authorities by 2025. This is not only outlined in the Climate Action Programme 2030, which also contains numerous requirements for the federal administration, but also in the Climate Protection Act, which defines goals and measures for the federal administration in connection with achieving greenhouse gas neutrality in Germany by 2045. The federal administration is thus obligated to organize itself in a climate-neutral manner by 2030. To support federal authorities in achieving these goals, they can now access services from the Federal Government's online portal to assist with the implementation and maintenance of an environmental management system, as well as with climate management.

As part of the project, we are providing participating authorities with our comprehensive range of EMAS services, from support with individual steps such as environmental impact assessments to complete support for the implementation of EMAS. Furthermore, federal authorities can utilize our support in the area of climate management, thereby moving closer to the goal of climate neutrality by 2030.
