Our quickstart guide will help you use your Arqum Toolbox. Let's get started!
General information about the Arqum Toolbox
With the Arqum Toolbox, we aim to support some of our services with digital tools, making it easier for you to track and build upon the results of our collaborative work. We provide the necessary tools within our Arqum Toolbox for this purpose. This combines the advantages of digitally designed processes with the positive effects of personalized support.
As a starting point for the digitalization of our services, we have chosen the complex process of compliance audits . We also plan to support the management of obligations for maintaining compliance in the areas of environmental, energy, and occupational health and safety law with a dedicated tool in the future . Furthermore, we intend to support other services, such as conducting internal audits and establishing environmental management systems , with our digital tools.
Registration in the Arqum Toolbox
Once you have booked a service supported by the Arqum Toolbox, we will create a profile for your organization and you as our primary contact in the Arqum Toolbox. You will then receive an email from us with the subject: “Your access to the Arqum Toolbox toolbox.arqum.de ” , in which we ask you to confirm your registration by clicking on a link. You will then be asked to accept the terms of use and to choose your own password, which should consist of at least eight characters and at least one number and one uppercase letter. Once you have created this password, you will be logged into the Arqum Toolbox and will have access to the available tools, including those you have booked.

Access
The Compliance Tool gives you access to the results of your compliance audits, additional functions for processing them, and information on legal changes.
You can access the compliance tool after logging in at toolbox.arqum.de via the navigation bar in the upper right corner. This will take you to the audit overview.
Audit overview
The audit overview displays all audits conducted to date as well as those planned. From here you can access:
the audit results
the audit-specific legal register
the cross-audit legal register
Symbols on the individual audits provide you with information about (depending on the service booked):
Changes to regulations that have occurred since the last audit was completed
Cross-audit legal register
If you conduct recurring audits with us, these are referred to as follow-up audits. In these follow-up audits, depending on the contractual agreement, we may not audit all regulations listed in the audit catalog, but rather perform the audit on a sample basis. This means that fewer relevant regulations may appear in the audit-specific legal register than in the previous audit. To prevent regulations relevant to your organization from being omitted from your register altogether, we maintain a comprehensive legal register that covers all audits. You can access this register by logging in, selecting the "Compliance Audits" page, and choosing your organization name or the name of the location whose legal register you wish to view.
Your legal register will then be displayed. In the upper part of the page, you also have the option to download the audit results and the legal register as an Excel file.
Audit-specific legal register
The audit-specific legal register only lists the regulations that were addressed within the scope of the respective audit. Therefore, if your audit was conducted as a sample, it only contains the regulations whose obligations were assessed during the audit.
To access your (audit-specific) legal register, log in and go to the "Compliance Audits" page. Then select "Open" for the desired audit.
Your legal register will then be displayed. In the upper part of the page, you also have the option to download the audit results and the legal register as an Excel file.
Audit results
In the audit results view, depending on the service booked, you will see the obligations of your audit that are rated as requiring action, or (if the Plus option is booked) additionally all obligations rated as fulfilled in the respective audit.
From here you can:
- Export the audit results and the legal register as Excel files
- Filter the view according to desired criteria
- Open the detailed view of an obligation (provides information on the respective underlying regulation, among other things)
- Track the comment history of a requirement (per level)
- See the task planning (per level).
- Identify which obligations have been assessed as requiring action (Plus option)
- See which obligations have prompted new comments from the Arqum Compliance Team or your employees.

Within the toolbox, we provide you with numerous further explanations for frequently asked questions about the compliance tool. You can access the FAQs via the navigation bar in the upper right corner.
Other tools in the Arqum Toolbox
Currently, the compliance tool is the only tool in the Arqum toolbox. However, we are already planning to develop additional tools. For example, we would like to expand the compliance tool to include a duty management module and offer it to you as the Compliance Tool Premium.
Furthermore, we are already considering additional tools, such as an audit tool with which we can conduct internal audits and give you access to the results and track them.
